My Journey
Uptown Oracle began as a creative outlet during a transitional period of my life. Right after completing my A Levels, I moved to my dad’s home to prepare for university. With time on my hands and few friends in a new place, I decided to start a blog – thus, Uptown Oracle was born. However, life got busy as I started university, found a job, and made new friends, and the blog took a back seat.
Halfway through my first year, a digital marketing internship sparked a realisation: blogging was not just a hobby, but a powerful tool to learn and grow in ways that aligned with my career goals. As I juggled my marketing degree, I revived Uptown Oracle with renewed energy, pushing myself to create content that reflected both my personal interests and my professional aspirations.
Fast forward to today, I’ve graduated, landed my dream job, and continued to nurture Uptown Oracle. Over the years, I’ve found a balance that allows me to work, socialise, and maintain a healthy lifestyle – all while sharing the things I love with you. What started as a solo project has evolved into a platform where I connect with a vibrant community of readers, writers, and fellow bloggers.
