Do you ever have those days where it’s so cold you can feel your skin drying up? When I went on holiday to New York last February this happened to me every single day so when I saw this while browsing Sephora I needed it. It seems to soothe straightaway which is probably due to the oatmeal and eucalyptus oil both of which have helped my dry (and sometimes painful) skin in the past.
My skin was visibly smoothed after application which really helped when I was applying foundation as I didn’t want that awful flaky skin effect that so often happens with dry skin. I also used it on patches of eczema on my body and it worked just as well as it did on my face.
I find it’s a perfect substitute for an everyday face moisturiser when my skin is extra dry or I have flared up with eczema as it works wonders for mouisterising without irritation. If you have eczema you will know about how some creams make you want to itch even more and this doesn’t at all; it also doesn’t feel greasy or waxy like some emollients and creams which are made for targeting eczema. You also only need a small amount at a time – so if you’re only using it every so often on a tough dry patches like me then it can last for months so it’s also great value for money!
