As my trusty foundation brush from the really cheap set I bought off Amazon was slowly starting to deteriorate I realised I really needed to invest in a foundation brush that is made to last. I looked around at bloggers favourites and found loads of stunning sets of brushes, but I just couldn’t justify the price of them. I use my foundation brush everyday, but my other brushes are used mainly when I’m going out and need a stronger look. So my other brushes were still working great while foundation was malting more and more everyday.
This in when Loella’s Flawless Foundation Felicia brush came into my life. I was wandering around Stylist live show last year when I saw a booth with cute brushes decorating their stand. The two women were really nice when we went over to have a look, and they told me all about their two brush collections. I decided right then and there that I would buy a foundation brush to test out as it’s only £9. Nearly 7 months later this brush is still my go to everyday.
It applies my liquid foundation really well to create an even looking skin tone without it being too thick of a layer. This brush is a lot better than my old one as I think it spreads my foundation much more easily and this means my skin is looking even better than ever. I find that unlike a beauty blender/sponge it doesn’t feel like a lot of my foundation is wasted either by clinging to the brush.
Loella brushes a cruelty free and vegan as the brush is made of synthetic fibres and a wooden handle. The bristles are great and none have fallen out since purchasing. The only issue I’ve had with quality is the metallic part of the handle has started to rub off, although it has been travelling with me a lot and this is more of an aesthetic problem than anything else.

Ooh, it’s so pretty – such a shame that the metallic finish is wearing off! Purpose over looks though!

I agree! Definitely a great brush other than the aesthetic wearing away xx
