Maybelline Gel Eyeliner Review | Gel Eyeliner Is Perfect For Long-Lasting Matte Looks

I’ve used the Maybelline Gel Eyeliner for years now, since I was about 15. I’ve had an on/off relationship as I often switch over to pen or pencil liners. I know a lot of people don’t get on with gel liner, but I find it lasts much longer. I also think it works better if you’re looking for a matte eye look, as pen liners usually look shiny.

The Maybelline Gel Liner comes with its own brush which is quite good for application. You only need the smallest amount on the brush, which means it lasts for ages. The first time may be difficult as it takes some skill to get a fine and straight line. The brush also lasts a long time, just remember to clean it often. I often lose the brush and it gets dry and unusable quickly.

It claims on the box that it’s 24 hour wear which is probably true. I have never tried 24 hours straight but it does take a good makeup remover to get it all off. I’ve also never had problems with it smudging off in the day.
