As we try to transition into the spring season my skin has already started to be a bit oilier as it’s not quite as cold or windy as before. So I thought I’d show you guys my updated skincare routine!
Morning
Micellar Water
I’m sure many can agree with me that Micellar water is your go to cleansing product. It works really well for my skin and it manages to clean any dirt or oil that’s built up overnight. My bottle also stays quite chilled as it’s near my window, so it’s a bit of a wake up call as well.
Pixi Glow Tonic
In the morning I like to use Pixi Glow Tonic as I need an exfliating toner to help with my dry patches, but I also need something that won’t strip my skin of moisture as I don’t want my skin to overcompensate and become oily underneath my makeup. I find that Pixi Glow also works well to smooth any dryness before I apply foundation so it looks better.
Clinique Smart SPF 15
I’m already prepping for long sunny days where I can eat outdoors. So I’m using the Clinique Smart SPF Moisturiser, which I will replace once I’ve finished the sample. I just love that it contains SPF but doesn’t feel too heavy on my skin.
Evening
Micellar Water
I use Micerllar water morning and night because I find that it cleans my skin enough for me. I know some people struggle to clean their makeup off, but it always works perfectly with what I wear.
Clinique Clarifying Lotion
In the evening I like to use a toner that’s a bit stronger to combat any spots that have been aggravated during the day. I’m notorious for sitting with my face on my hand so I need to make sure that I’m cleaning my face thoroughly for dirt and bacteria.
Clinique Smart Night
Along with the SPF moisturiser, I use the Smart Night one in the evening. I find this moisturiser to be a very similar formula but it rests on your skin a bit longer and seems to be a deeper moisturiser for when you’re resting without a face full of make up. This step can also be substituted with FAB ultra repair cream and also Clinique’s dramatically different lotion.
Shower
I usually have a long shower every other day so I can wash my hair and also give my skin a little boost. I will either put on a face mask or exfoliate and then I have a deeper moisturiser after I get out.
L’Oreal Scrub
I’ve recently been using the L’oreal scrub. It’s not too harsh on your skin, but you can still feel it as it scrubs your face. It always leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth to the touch.
Body Shop Face Mask
I have an obsession with body shop face masks and I love using them. I cycle through them and I chose depending on how my skin is feeling. If I’m breaking out I use the tea tree one, if I’m feeling dry the aloe mask is the way to go.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
After a hot shower I need to put extra moisturiser on so my face isn’t too tight or dry. I love the ultra repair cream, and it also works wonders on any eczema patches that flare up.
Nip & Fab Serum
I also give my skin a little bit of a moisture boost using Nip + Fab’s serum. This makes my skin feel really hydrated, and more alive and glowy.

A glow tonic sounds like something my skin could do with at the moment!

Haha I’m always aiming for glowing skin!
The masks sound lovely! Especially the aloe or honey on oat on more dry skin types x

I love the honey and oat one! It also acts like an exfoliator when you wash it off! X
That’s a good skin care routine. I don’t do as much but I think I would like to incorporate a serum to my routine.
I have to admit that sometimes it’s erm… forgotten😂 but my skin always looks its best when I stick to it!
I use Micerllar too and I felt that it works well. I would love to try out the Body Shop Face Masks 🙂
I would recommend the masks! There’s one for any issue your skins having!😊
I need a new scrub and that L’Oréal one sound awesome! Also loving the Nip and Fab bottle!! It looks awesome!
Your photos are lovely too!

You should for sure try out one from the L’Oreal range! They have different ones for different skin types I think!
