Staying in a Hobbit House in the UK | The Perfect Cosy Tolkien Holiday Home In Southern England

If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into the world of J.R.R. Tolkien, there’s no need to travel all the way to New Zealand. Right here in the UK, nestled in the beautiful Sussex countryside, you can immerse yourself in the magic of Middle-Earth with a stay in a real-life Hobbit House. This cosy and enchanting escape is perfect for Tolkien fans, book lovers, and anyone looking to unwind in a unique setting that feels straight out of the Shire.

Ever since I first read the Hobbit as a child I’ve been in love with Tolkien’s world and especially the Hobbits and The Shire. In recent years my love for the films, additional literature and other media surrounding this world has only grown and so I was taken on a surprise holiday to my very own Hobbit House here in the UK.

Discover Your Own Piece of Middle-Earth

While many associate Tolkien’s Middle-Earth with the sweeping landscapes of New Zealand, the inspiration for his world came from closer to home – the English countryside. Located in the serene Rother Valley, this Hobbit House offers the quintessential Tolkien experience amidst rolling hills and lush greenery. Just a stone’s throw from historical sites like Bodiam Castle, local pubs, and charming restaurants, this Hobbit House provides the perfect backdrop for your own adventure.
