I think for The Ordinary your best bet would be to use some of the oils and serums more as they’re perfect for hydrating dry skin! They’re pretty affordable, and you can sometimes get them in sets of three if you want to try out a few different ones. I agree it can defintely get confusing (I hope this post helped a bit though!) – thank you for reading and commetning Carmen! x

I was trying to be as to the point and simple as possible as I know people who don’t know can struggle when there’s too much technical stuff about skincare in there – so I’m really happy it came across that way. I too have neglected my skin in the past, and can sometimes get lazy with it but always find my skin just looks so much better with a proper routine!
